Ever wonder what Charleston’s Jennifer Garner might be like as a cartoon? Well, now we know!
The longtime Charleston resident is guest starring on “Martha Speaks” on PBS Kids. Taking a role with kids or dogs always presents the danger of being upstaged, but that might not hold true if you’re already a cartoon.
In an episode called “Too Many Marthas,” the talking dog known as Martha is in for a surprise when another doggie Martha shows up. Garner’s cartoon character helps to straighten matters out with lines like, “Martha is tall and thin. You’re stubby and round and freckled.”
This all happens on Feb. 4. I bet Garner’s own kids will enjoy the episode.
When Martha is asked to sing at an animal rescue fundraiser, she’s thrilled. But on the day of the concert, Martha gets mixed up with another Martha — a dog belonging to a lady named Jennifer (Jennifer Garner). Can Martha help Jennifer locate her missing pup before it’s time to sing? Starting February 4th, 2013 on PBS KIDS. Don’t miss Martha Speaks, weekdays on PBS KIDS.
